The fintech company’s revenue grew nearly 42% in the July-September quarter, mostly on the strength of its payments business.
Gurugram-based Mobikwik on Tuesday reported a net loss of Rs 3.59 crore in the quarter ended September 2024. While the fintech company did narrow its loss from Rs 6.61 crore in the previous quarter, the number still looks bad compared to the Rs 5.25 crore profit it made during the corresponding quarter in the previous financial year.
This is the first time the company is announcing quarterly results since its debut on the stock market last month and it attributes the loss to ongoing investments in its business for growth.
