Asian News International, or ANI, has landed itself in controversy after placing copyright strikes on several popular YouTube channels that have used its content. Many Indian YouTubers are terming the news agency’s actions as extortion, especially because YouTube has a policy of permanently removing channels that receive three strikes during a 90-day period.
