Pristyn Care has a revenue recognition problem

The health tech startup seems to be operating in a grey area when it comes to accounting for its sales figures.

Pristyn Care’s founders have been arguing—a lot. For a little over a year now, all three of them seem to be disagreeing over things and “screaming. They get into a room, they are so loud, you can overhear,” recalls a former executive at the surgery startup, asking not to be named.

It is usually two vs one. Vaibhav Kapoor and Garima Sawhney—husband and wife, both doctors—on one side and chief executive officer Harsimarbir Singh on the other.
