The key lessons of our first three years of being in business is that building a sustainable, fearless, independent media company is closest to running an obstacle race, minus any finishing line.
Vindication for The Morning Context
Earlier today, Kenrise Media Pvt. Ltd, also known as The Ken, and its promoters, Rohin Dharmakumar, Seema Singh and Sumanth Raghavendra, withdrew their suit filed on 25 November 2019 against Ashish K. Mishra, Editor-in-Chief of The Morning Context, along with Harveen Ahluwalia, Pranav S., Pradip K. Saha and Priya Bubna, the co-founders of The Morning Context.
The Morning Context at 2.5
The Morning Context has been selected to join the International Center for Journalists or ICFJ’s News Business Hub. In 2020, we were one of the recipients of the Google News Initiative (GNI) Innovation Challenge for the Asia Pacific region and in 2021, we received an investment from the Media Development Investment Fund.
The Morning Context will be part of ICFJ’s first Elevate cohort
We have some good news to share. The Morning Context has been selected to join the International Center for Journalists’s Elevate news business hub. The programme will have 18 news organizations from around the world who will receive mentoring and business strategy lessons in building a sustainable media company.
