String of top exits signals trouble at Rehan Yar Khan’s Orios Venture Partners

The heart of the matter is that while the VC investment firm pretends to be a partnership, it actually behaves like a single-founder fund.

Orios Venture Partners has seen a number of unsettling developments lately.

Last month, two managing partners, Anup Jain and Rajeev Suri, quit the early-stage venture capital firm. This leaves Orios with a single managing partner—Rehan Yar Khan, who is also a co-founder and now leads a team of nine. Before them, Vinit Bhansali, senior vice president at the firm, had left in June.
