Udaan to go for second round of layoffs

The B2B e-commerce startup is going to lay off more than 30% of its workforce.

Update: Udaan on Thursday announced a second round of layoffs this year. The number is estimated to be upwards of 30% of its workforce, or around 1,000 people, according to multiple employees of the company.

B2B e-commerce startup Udaan is going for another round of layoffs as it continues to revamp its operations, according to three people who asked not to be named. It’s going to be a significant number, although we couldn’t ascertain the exact figure since the workforce includes people involved in ground operations, who aren’t classified as employees.

This would be Udaan’s second round of job cuts …
