On 7 June, a passenger raised concerns that Vistara was capturing photos of all passengers at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The full-service airline responded that the cameras at the boarding gates were for DigiYatra, a government-backed initiative that lets passengers check in using a facial recognition system.
