The fried chicken strategy behind Devyani International’s growth

Growing popularity of its KFC outlets has helped the Delhi-based company in its battle with Domino’s India operator Jubilant FoodWorks for the top slot in the fast-food industry.

Fried chicken may evoke strong reactions depending on which side of the diet fence you sit, but there’s no doubt who is winning the argument. Taste, and not calories, triumphs. And those at Devyani International are licking their fingers.
