The on-demand logistics startup is a rare success story in a fragmented industry that has seen many others shut shop or struggle.
Business has been booming for Porter, the logistics startup Pranav Goel co-founded in 2014. The company more than doubled its revenue from operations to Rs 1,754 crore in 2022-23, from Rs 848 crore in the previous fiscal year. At the same time, it has kept losses largely in check at Rs 175 crore, against Rs 122 crore the previous year.
Goel says the secret lies in his persistence that the Uber for trucks model has legs.
