Reliance, Lightrock representatives, two co-founders exit Dunzo board

Co-founders Dalvir Suri and Mukund Jha have ceased to be directors, as have two executives from Reliance, which owns more than 25% in the startup.

According to records available with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the majority of the members of Dunzo’s board of directors have resigned over the past two months. This includes two top executives from Reliance Retail—the grocery delivery startup’s largest shareholder—and two co-founders.

  • Ashwin Khasgiwala, group chief of business operations at Reliance Retail, exited the board on 3 August.
  • Rajendra Kamath, finance head at Reliance Retail, also exited on 3 August.
  • Vaidhehi Ravindran, a partner at venture capital firm Lightrock India, exited on 21 August.
