Dubai-based Emirates Airlines, in its best financial performance yet, posted a net profit of AED 19.1 billion ($5.2 billion) in 2024-25, up 11% from AED 17.2 billion ($4.7 billion) the year before, driven by a surge in global travel demand.
Revenue rose 6% year-on-year to AED 127.9 billion ($34.9 billion), while cash assets climbed 16% to AED 49.7 billion ($13.5 billion) as of 31 March 2025. Fuel costs remained a major expense at AED 32.6 billion ($8.9 billion), accounting for 31% of total operating costs—down slightly from AED 34.2 billion ($9.3 billion) last year.
