Temu, the Chinese e-commerce company popular for its ultra-low-cost goods, appears to have set its sights on the Mideast. In a big move this month, the company announced that it will now be working with local sellers in the Emirates and hence expanding its base across the country. From the press statement:
“The rollout in the UAE marks the latest step in Temu’s efforts to support local businesses and improve the consumer experience for shoppers. UAE-registered businesses that have locally stocked inventory can now tap Temu as a new low-cost channel to reach millions of customers.
