The American retail giant has responded to concerns expressed by some former Dunzo employees over Biswas’ hiring, citing non-payment of salaries.
Walmart is looking into the appointment of Dunzo CEO and co-founder Kabeer Biswas as the head of its Indian subsidiary Flipkart’s quick-commerce segment, Minutes. The Morning Context has seen an email to this effect, sent by the retail giant’s investigation team to some former employees of Dunzo.
The aforementioned email came in response to concerns expressed by Dunzo’s former employees about “hiring a person with…criminal background”, in a separate email to Walmart CEO Doug McMillon and Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy, among others.
