Ramabhadran Thirumalai is Associate Professor of Finance (Practice) and Deputy Dean - Mohali Campus at Indian School of Business with research interests in trading behaviour of various types of market participants and liquidity and market efficiency. He is currently on the Board of Directors of CDSL Ventures, and serves on NSE’s Expert Advisory Committee for Surveillance Practices and the Regulatory Oversight Committees. He has been a member of the BSE’s Risk Management Committee, Trading and Surveillance Oversight Committee, Price Setting Committee, Governing Council of Derivatives Segment, and Investor Grievance Redressal Council. He has a PhD in Finance from Indiana University, Bloomington, an MS in Statistics from the University of South Carolina, Columbia and a BE (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from BITS, Pilani.
