Indian VCs look to ride the AI wave in 2024

OpenAI’s runaway success has spawned a slew of Indian startups keen to take a shot at generative AI. A fair amount of capital is being invested behind the latest buzzword—but it’s unclear what will stick.

It’s no exaggeration to say that 2023 has been a year dominated by artificial intelligence. Ever since OpenAI launched ChatGPT at the end of 2022, businesses and venture funds alike have rushed to get a slice of the AI pie.
