Info Edge initiates forensic audit into Rahul Yadav’s 4B Networks

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India has been appointed as the forensic auditor and will be assisted by Info Edge’s legal advisors Saraf and Partners.

It seems that 4B Networks, the third startup of Rahul Yadav, the disgraced cofounder of Housing.com, has irked its key investor. In a stock exchange filing today, online classifieds provider Info Edge, which owns 60% of 4B Networks, said it is initiating a forensic audit into the affairs of “the investee company”. 

Founded in 2020, 4B Networks is a property tech venture that was supposed to be Yadav’s comeback. It is essentially a marketplace that wanted to streamline the relationship between developers, brokers and their clients. Info Edge saw promise in this idea and, over the years, invested Rs 288 …
