OpenAI’s Ghibli-style art output should be challenged for copyright theft

Copyright protection is a negative right. Nobody can copy your work without getting your permission. If OpenAI did not get Studio Ghibli’s nod to train its LLM on the studio’s original, hand-drawn artwork style, we need to ask whether it is copyright infringement.
