Used-car sales startup Cars24 announced on Wednesday its acquisition of automotive content forum Team-BHP. The latter, founded in 2004, features community-led discussions, reviews and industry analysis about cars and bikes for its 40 million visitors.
The tie-up will involve Cars24 helping Team-BHP boost its technology and artificial intelligence capabilities to offer users improved video and photo review formats, a revamped homepage and new Android and iOS apps. Additionally, the idea is to come up with AI tools to offer Team-BHP community members a number of services—vehicle price and feature comparisons, traffic challan payments, FASTag top-ups and car insurance renewals.
