Last week, Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, minister of state for communications, said that 5G coverage has spread to 99.6% of the districts in India. But he also added that just 250 million subscribers use 5G technology in the country. That’s fewer than a quarter of the 1.16 billion wireless subscribers in India.
